Nice takedown defense from Foster. No joy for Lalla on that attempt.
Lalla drives through with a takedown into guard.
Foster is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Lalla dives into side control.
Foster bucks up and tries to throw Lalla off but instead Lalla has got his back!
Foster is looking to escape but he's done so without protecting himself and Lalla manages to counter with a nice rear naked choke! Foster is in trouble and he's forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jaro Lalla!
After the fight, Jaro Lalla was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
