Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Igi Peterson (ranked 4184 p4p, 438 weight class) and Roc Le Phat (ranked 5730 p4p, 521 weight class). Le Phat has chosen Bonita Applebum as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Igi Peterson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Roc Le Phat! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Le Phat fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Peterson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Le Phat displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Peterson. Peterson throws a leg kick but Le Phat checks it. Le Phat looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Le Phat misses the shot to the body. Le Phat blocks a head kick by Peterson.
Horrible takedown attempt by Peterson or perhaps it was just good defense by Le Phat, which made it look bad. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peterson throws a push kick but Le Phat slaps the foot to one side. Peterson clinches with his opponent.
Le Phat misses with a punch on the inside.
Le Phat's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Peterson throws a lazy uppercut
and Le Phat counters with a nice low kick that buckles Peterson's knee momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peterson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Le Phat avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Le Phat looks like he wants to counter punch here. Peterson moves forwards but Le Phat connects with a nice, crisp jab.
It looks like Igi Peterson has been cut. Le Phat blocks a head kick by Peterson.
Peterson closes the distance but Le Phat moves to the side and Le Phat counters with a crisp right hand that drops Peterson! Le Phat lets Peterson back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Peterson is rocked! Le Phat looks to score with a jab to the body but Peterson is just out of range. Le Phat lands a nice looking body shot.
Peterson is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Peterson fails in his attempt to clinch. Le Phat looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Le Phat fakes the body blow, causing Peterson to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Peterson goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Roc Le Phat! Roc Le Phat seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
