Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Master Wong (ranked 1976 p4p, 54 weight class) and Sam Jetstrean (ranked 1430 p4p, 20 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 19 - 1, fighting out of New York, Master Wong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sam Jetstrean!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jorge Garcia and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wong shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Jetstrean counters with a big head kick but Wong shrugs it off.
Jetstrean looks to score with a jab to the body but Wong is just out of range.

Wong takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Jetstrean throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wong closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jetstrean circles away.

and Wong counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Wong tries to free his leg and advance position but Jetstrean is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jetstrean utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Wong postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jetstrean is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Wong, into his guard.

Wong seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wong is trying to keep Jetstrean in close.

Wong escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jetstrean gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Wong pulls Jetstrean in close to prevent any damage.

Wong is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Wong looking for a sweep. Not yet Wong, not yet.
Wong controls Jetstrean momentarily but Jetstrean frees himself.

Wong working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jetstrean doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Wong is tightening it up a little... Jetstrean has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Jetstrean reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Jetstrean taps out! Nice BJJ there by Wong!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Master Wong!
