Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Trash Bin (ranked 3543 p4p, 394 weight class) and Froere Viking (ranked 3539 p4p, 392 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 0 losses; Trash Bin! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 0 losses; Froere Viking! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Lou da Vinci and Chad Campbell.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Bin gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Bin is looking to take this one to the mat. Bin has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Viking is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Bin pulls guard effortlessly. Bin throws his legs up looking for a submission but Viking uses it to pass to side control.
Score +3 for passing guard: Bin (0) vs (3) Viking Bin is not content to let Viking control the position. Viking slows the pace down. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Viking wants to control but Bin is keeping him busy. Viking working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bin is looking for a sweep. Bin stops Viking from passing to mount. Viking is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bin has escaped the position, nice work there. Viking tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Viking has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Viking tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Bin tries to bench press Viking off him but Viking keeps the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Viking thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Bin is not content to let Viking control the position. Bin is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bin prevents Viking from improving position. Bin trying to remain calm as Viking controls from the top position. Viking working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Viking trying to control the position but Bin is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bin struggling a bit here. Viking takes a little break here. Bin wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Bin wants to control but Viking postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Bin tries to improve position but can't. Viking is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bin knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Viking wants to control but Bin is keeping him busy. Viking tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. A lull in the action here.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Viking trying to control the position but Bin is working away.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Viking wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bin, who protects the arm well. Bin tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Viking wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Bin is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Viking off and has taken his back! Score +4 for clean sweep to past guard: Bin (4) vs (3) Viking Viking wants to escape the position.
Bin has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Viking's body.
Bin wants to control but Viking is keeping busy. Bin looking for the rear naked choke. And he's got it! Viking taps!
