Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bingo Bango (ranked 6499 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fist Of Steel (ranked 3335 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bingo Bango! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Fist Of Steel! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Chris Saunders and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bango shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Bango perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Bango thows a huge punch but Steel dodges it nicely.
Ground and pound from Bango. Bango looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Bango has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bango stops Steel from getting back to his feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bango gets a takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bango looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Steel with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bango content to control rather than advance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steel taking some punishment here, with Bango in his half guard. Steel has hold of Bango's hands but Bango slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Bango takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Bango working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Bango trying to control the pace. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Steel can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Nice strikes from Bango there. Bango controlling the pace. Bango not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Bango not doing much here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Steel pushes Bango off looking to stand but Bango dives back in and keeps control.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bingo Bango dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
A jab from Bango misses. Bango throws a good cross that connects.
Steel throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Bango counters with a single leg into guard. Steel didn't expect that. Bango postures up and lands a big shot to Steel's brow. Bango slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steel is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bango is controlling him. Bango is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Bango waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Steel. Steel tries to sprawl but Bango drives through with a takedown into half guard. Bingo Bango overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bango with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bango working over Steel with some ground and pound. Steel looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Still in half guard, Bango seems content to control. Bango's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bango seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Steel for as long as he can get away with.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Steel throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bango counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Bango keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Bango is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Steel can do to turn this around? Further stalling from Bango. Bango lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Steel is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bango scores with a couple of nice shots. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bango connects with a nice short shot to Steel's temple. Bango stalling. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bingo Bango dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Steel looks to land a left hand but Bango moved out of range nicely. Steel throws a right hand that misses
and Bango counters with a nice double leg into guard. Bango is standing up over Steel. Steel looks to escape but Bango dives into side control.
Bango remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Bango lands some shots froms side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bango landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Bango is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Steel will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bango landing a few strikes. Bango is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bango working the body and head with strikes. Bango in side control, just content to control the action for now. Bango cracks Steel with a big elbow. Bango decides to stand back up. Bango steps back and let's Steel get back to his feet. Bango feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bango passes Steel's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Nice strikes from Bango there. Still in half guard, Bango seems content to control. Bango is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Bango has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bango looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Fist Of Steel has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Steel takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Bango sitting and controlling from the half guard. Bango drops an elbow to the side of Steel's head. Bango sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Bango is stinking the place up with his stalling. Bango landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Bango perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. And that's the end of the fight! Bingo Bango showed his dominance in that final round. Well Bango has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
