Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brian Ortega (ranked 3239 p4p, 352 weight class) and Po Anubis (ranked 4648 p4p, 435 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brian Ortega! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Po Anubis! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Phil Schofield and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ortega lands with a kick to the ribs.
We've been told by Ortega's head coaches at Death Valley Training Facility that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Po Anubis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ortega walks into a left hand. Anubis throws a lazy right hand but Ortega sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Ortega throws a looping overhand right but Anubis ducks down to avoid it. Some wild striking there from Anubis.
Anubis misses with a body shot.
Ortega walks into a jab. Ortega gets tackled into the cage by Anubis. Anubis maintains the clinch. Anubis is trying to break the clinch but Ortega is controlling him. Anubis is trying to break the clinch but Ortega has him pressed against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anubis wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ortega has him pressed against the cage. Ortega manages to pull guard.
Ortega lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Anubis keeping moving, preventing Ortega from controlling successfully. Anubis wants to stand but Ortega is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ortega is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Ortega passes Anubis's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Ortega is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Anubis is trying to stand up here but Ortega is controlling him well. Anubis tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Ortega manages to move to mount!
Ortega trying to control but Anubis is having none of it. Anubis is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Anubis is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ortega working for a guillotine from mount but Anubis is in no mood to give up. Anubis tries to buck Ortega off but Ortega takes his back! Anubis wants to get back to his feet. He's half way up but Ortega drags him back down with a jolt, managing to get his forearm deep under Anubis 's chin! Anubis is in real trouble! His face is turning bright red and he's forced to tap! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Brian Ortega! Brian Ortega seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
