Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Kilpatrick (ranked 338 p4p, 48 weight class) and Bryan Schaub (ranked 232 p4p, 34 weight class). Bryan Schaub will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jesse Kilpatrick! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bryan Schaub! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schaub manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kilpatrick on his heels. He'll look to pass Kilpatrick's guard now, I'm sure. Schaub drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kilpatrick dives on top into guard.

Is there anything that Schaub can do to turn this around? The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kilpatrick postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Schaub in real trouble here! The ref calls for Schaub to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
