Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Craig Mack (ranked 4489 p4p, 446 weight class) and Dylan Peterson (ranked 1294 p4p, 158 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Craig Mack! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dylan Peterson! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mack stuffs the takedown attempt from Peterson. Peterson gets slowly back to his feet. Mack misses with a jab, cross combination.
Peterson throws a right and a left that Mack avoids nicely. Mack tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Peterson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Mack scores with a hook to the body. Peterson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Peterson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Mack gets caught napping as Peterson dives in and scores a takedown. Mack manages to retain guard. Mack preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Peterson with a nice head shot there. Mack is trying to control the position but Peterson postures up. Peterson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Peterson connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Mack some visible discomfort.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mack tries to bench press Peterson off him but Peterson keeps the position. Peterson working the ground and pound. Peterson is trying to get an arm triangle but Mack is defending well. Peterson connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Mack some visible discomfort.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Mack's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Peterson working the ground and pound. Peterson lands a nice forearm strike. Mack is trying to control Peterson's posture but Peterson avoids it. That's two minutes gone in the round. Mack takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Peterson has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at St Petersburg MMA Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Peterson moves into full mount! Peterson raining down shots from the mount! Peterson with the ground and pound from mount. Peterson in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
This has been an exciting period of action! Peterson scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Mack is rocked! Peterson looking to secure an arm triangle but Mack defends it well. Oh Mack is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Peterson lands a couple of good shots and Mack has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Peterson scoring with big shots to the body. Mack is looking for a way out. A despairing look towards the ref and the official steps in to stop the fight. Mack was obviously done but didn't want to tap out.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dylan Peterson! Our winner, Dylan Peterson, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
