Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dallas Ramsey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Davey Jones! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Ramsey tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Jones manages to circle out of the way. Davey Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones scores with a jab. Jones throws a hook to the side of Ramsey's head but Ramsey sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. As Jones backs away, Ramsey returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Ramsey showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jones.
Ramsey tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Jones manages to circle out of the way. Jones misses with an uppercut. Jones throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Nice defenses there by Ramsey. Ramsey seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jones takes the fight into the clinch. Ramsey tries to pull guard but Jones forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Good body shot from Jones.

Ramsey jumps guard and drags Jones to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Jones throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ramsey works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Ramsey seems keen to control Jones's posture. Jones trying to control but Ramsey is working from the bottom. Ramsey utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Ramsey is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ramsey lands an upkick as Jones stands over him. Ramsey preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Ramsey uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jones's guard. Nice move by Ramsey! Jones is trying to control the position but Ramsey postures up. Jones wants to stand up but Ramsey is controlling him. Ramsey postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Ramsey working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jones's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Davey Jones dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jones lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ramsey has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ramsey and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Ramsey moves away from the strike by Jones. Jones tries to score with a low kick but Ramsey moves his leg out of the way. Ramsey looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Jones closes the distance and clinches. Ramsey working hard to break the clinch. Jones is working Ramsey over against the cage. Ramsey is trying to break the clinch but Jones is controlling him. Ramsey jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jones walks away with a smile on his face. Ramsey gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Ramsey drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ramsey takes a shot right to the bread basket. Ramsey shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense. Jones has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Jones pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jones clinches with his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ramsey's efforts to push away. Ramsey jumps guard but Jones stands there with Ramsey around his waist. Ramsey gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Ramsey checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Jones connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Jones displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ramsey.

Ramsey is rocked! Jones wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Oh Ramsey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jones finds Ramsey's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Ramsey flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Jones lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Ramsey will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Davey Jones!
