Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Gonawyn (ranked 2825 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Daniels (ranked 23020 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniels has chosen Centuries by Fall Out Boy as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels looks to clinch
and Gonawyn counters with a shoot takedown. Daniels fights it but they end up in guard.
Gonawyn is pushing down on Daniels's leg trying to pass to half guard. Daniels is fighting to maintain full guard but Gonawyn has managed to sneak the leg through.
Daniels keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Daniels can do anything to dispel that myth.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

After winning the bout, King Gonawyn thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
