Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Filip Rakovich (ranked 3649 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Parsons (ranked 24580 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Filip Rakovich! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Parsons! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Phil Schofield and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parsons tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rakovich sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Parsons somewhat. Parsons is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Rakovich shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Parsons is trying to defend but Rakovich finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Still in half guard, Rakovich seems content to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rakovich tries to pass the half guard into mount. Parsons knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rakovich is trying to work for a kimura but Parsons is defending well.
Rakovich looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Rakovich lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Rakovich postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Parsons to stand up. Parsons shoots in but Rakovich avoids the takedown attempt easily. Parsons lands a front kick. Parsons doesn't succeed with the takedown and Rakovich counters by clinching up. Filip Rakovich has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Parsons. A battle for position here, against the cage. Parsons misses with a punch on the inside.
Rakovich turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Rakovich manages to end up in side control. Rakovich decides to stand up, so the ref orders Parsons to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rakovich gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Parsons is trying to drag Rakovich to the mat but Rakovich just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Rakovich is pushing Parsons up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Parsons is looking for a takedown. Parsons tries to break the clinch but Rakovich is controlling the position. Rakovich's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Rakovich keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Rakovich looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parsons looks for a takedown but Rakovich sprawls well. Rakovich is looking to counter the offense by Parsons and move into the clinch. Rakovich moves into the clinch. Parsons goes for a takedown attempt but Rakovich pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Parsons dives in and grabs Rakovich's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rakovich pushes down on Parsons's head and hops out. We've been informed that Parsons has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Parsons looks winded! Rakovich drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Parsons tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Parsons really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rakovich. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Rakovich lands with some strikes.
It looks like Mike Parsons has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Parsons has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Filip Rakovich dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mike Parsons's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Rakovich gets a double leg takedown into Parsons's guard. Parsons wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Rakovich manages to pass to side control. Parsons wants to improve his position but Rakovich is controlling well.
Rakovich looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rakovich is nestled in close to Parsons, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parsons tries to get to full guard but Rakovich has control of the leg. Rakovich is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Parsons has managed to free his arm - good work. Rakovich is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Parsons is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Filip Rakovich!
