Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bobiji Matifi (ranked 5222 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Dillinger (ranked 5132 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Matifi.
No luck for Dillinger with that takedown attempt.
Dillinger circles away from the clinch attempt.
Matifi is looking to clinch but Dillinger is avoiding it.
Matifi closes the distance and clinches up with Dillinger, looking for a takedown. Matifi pushes Dillinger against the cage but Dillinger circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Matifi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dillinger can do anything to dispel that myth.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Dillinger has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Matifi has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Dillinger to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Matifi is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Dillinger pulls down on the head and he's put Matifi to sleep! This one is all over!
