Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Yuri Bedlaminov!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Alyssa Summers and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bedlaminov throws a body punch but Wong moves out of range.
Bedlaminov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bedlaminov looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

The strikes coming from Wong are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Wong has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Wong wants to control but Bedlaminov is keeping him busy.
Bedlaminov told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Wong tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Bedlaminov is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Wong is controlling him well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Yuri Bedlaminov's cut.
That's time! Wong's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Wong dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bedlaminov throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Bedlaminov looks for the body kick but Wong saw that one coming.
Wong attempts a counter takedown but Bedlaminov avoids it well and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bedlaminov cracks Wong with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Wong looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bedlaminov finish him?


Wong is rocked!


It looks like Master Wong has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wong walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Wong limp body while Bedlaminov jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Yuri Bedlaminov!
Yuri Bedlaminov got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
