Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Tearrius George! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Snow! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Eddie Farnsworth and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! George throws a front kick that sends Snow stumbling back into the cage. A nice inside leg kick there by George. That's going to slow Snow down. George dips to his left and cracks Snow with an uppercut! Nice uppercut there from Snow.
It looks like Tearrius George has been cut. George catches Snow with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! George uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Snow. George is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Snow's half guard. Snow wants to get back to full guard. George landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! George lands strikes from half guard. George bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Snow's guard. George won't allow Snow to sweep him here. Snow had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. George defends it easily. George sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Snow's guard. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

George looking to hit a scissor sweep but Snow is one step ahead there. Snow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. George swivels though and keeps the full guard. Snow tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but George was well out of range. Poor timing from Snow. George throws a head kick that Snow semi-blocks.

George lunges at Snow with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Snow's hand. Snow throws a head kick that misses. George keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

George is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Snow can do to turn this around? George misses with the head strike.

George lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. George lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

George gets through Snow's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Snow controlling the action here for a moment.

George decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Snow tries to roll over but George keeps him under control. Snow takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. This has been an exciting period of action! George lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Mike Snow has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tearrius George overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
