Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eugeniy Petrov (ranked 2177 p4p, 298 weight class) and Kelvin Handleman (ranked 584 p4p, 88 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Handleman's choice of entrance music: Pride FC Theme. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Handleman defends well and Petrov ends up having to push Handleman into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Petrov looks to throw the jab but Handleman is out of range.

Petrov ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Petrov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Handleman was well out of range. Poor timing from Petrov.

and Handleman counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Petrov rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Handleman to counter with a crisp jab.
Handleman throws a hook but Petrov avoids it easily.
Handleman gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Petrov misses with an uppercut.

Handleman uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Petrov.
Handleman cracks Petrov with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Petrov looks to land a left hand but Handleman moved out of range nicely.
Petrov missing with a left hand there. Handleman was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Petrov shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Handleman manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Petrov darts in looking for a takedown but Handleman gets double underhooks and turns Petrov into the cage.

Handleman throws an uppercut from hell that sends Petrov clean off his feet! He's out cold! Handleman stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

Kelvin Handleman really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Freebok (85% Laundry) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
