Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mon Ster (ranked 1047 p4p, 137 weight class) and Rian MacFarlane (ranked 568 p4p, 83 weight class). Ster comes to the cage accompanied by The Automatic - Monster. MacFarlane is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Foggy Dew. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mon Ster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
28 - 24 - 0, fighting out of London, Rian MacFarlane! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ster uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from MacFarlane. MacFarlane staying out of range there. Ster scores with a nice head shot. MacFarlane connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ster's hands. Nice straight punches there by Ster. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Ster. MacFarlane throws a shot to the body.
MacFarlane's coach down at Pablo's Boxing Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on MacFarlane's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. MacFarlane scores with a jab to the body. Ster has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Ster throws the kick towards the body but MacFarlane avoids it. Ster throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. MacFarlane uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ster. A countering left hand to the body from MacFarlane misses. MacFarlane throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ster jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. MacFarlane cracks the inside of Ster's front leg. MacFarlane fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
It looks like Mon Ster has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! MacFarlane wants to clinch but Ster slips to the side and Ster counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Rian MacFarlane has been cut. Ster takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. MacFarlane is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Ster rather than just go for the knockout.
That's one minute gone in the round. MacFarlane blocks a head kick by Ster.
MacFarlane looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it. MacFarlane connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ster. Ster circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Ster just misses with a punch to the body.
MacFarlane takes a body punch but keeps moving. MacFarlane is looking to score with low kicks. Ster seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. MacFarlane just misses with a punch to the body.
Ster is looking to counter the offense by MacFarlane and move into the clinch. Ster misses with a hook. Ster tries a head kick but it misses.

MacFarlane turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Ster throws out a loose jab but MacFarlane uses good head movement to avoid it. MacFarlane throws a counter combo. MacFarlane lands with a nice body punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. MacFarlane feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ster's calf. MacFarlane lands with a hook. Ster tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ster. MacFarlane fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ster manages to avoid it. MacFarlane scores with a leg kick.
MacFarlane tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ster paws at him with a jab and circles away. MacFarlane takes a swing at Ster's ribcage but misses. Nice shot lands for MacFarlane. Ster smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. MacFarlane loses concentration momentarily and Ster pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! MacFarlane crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Ster finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mon Ster! Our winner, Mon Ster, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans. Rian MacFarlane spoke after the fight, saying 'Sorry guys everything is still fuzzy... but I think he tapped out... so it is what it is... who am I again?'.
