Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Scott Summers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marcel Bocek!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Thiago Cunha and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Bocek does no damage.

Bocek feints and as Summers raises his hands in defense, Bocek changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Summers looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Bocek really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Summers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Summers looking for a guillotine here but Bocek defends easily.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bocek stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Summers swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Summers escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bocek gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Bocek doesn't manage to clinch there - Summers circles away.
Bocek fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Bocek shoots for a double leg takedown but Summers sprawls well. He's pushed Bocek's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Summers shoots in and bounces Bocek off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Summers gets to his feet. Bocek looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Summers is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bocek is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Summers is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Summers had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bocek is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Summers Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bocek's back instead.
