The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trumbley closes this distance looking for a takedown but Joroinen circles away.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Joroinen has eaten all the pies!
Joroinen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Joroinen drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Trumbley misses with the combination.
Joroinen shoots in and bounces Trumbley off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Joroinen drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Trumbley dives on top into guard.
Joroinen is looking for a triangle but Trumbley pushes his legs off easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Trumbley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Trumbley thows a huge punch but Joroinen dodges it nicely.
Trumbley prevents Joroinen from improving his position.
Trumbley has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Poor strikes thrown by Trumbley there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Trumbley is going olschool here, as he tries to force Joroinen to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Joroinen shrugs it off.
Joroinen tries to reverse the position but Trumbley maintains control.
Trumbley wants to finish this one by submission but Joroinen is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Trumbley.
Joroinen is looking to get to half guard.
Joroinen is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Trumbley seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Joroinen is holding on tight.
Trumbley looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Joroinen sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Joroinen has his foot on Trumbley's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Trumbley works his way back into a safe position though.

Trumbley tries to pass the half guard into mount. Joroinen knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Joroinen gets back to full guard.
Trumbley postures up in Joroinen's guard and throws a big left but Joroinen blocks it.
Joroinen has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Trumbley doesn't defend quickly enough and Joroinen has managed to lock this one up! Can Trumbley escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Joroinen on a fantastic submission victory.
