The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dussotoy looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Elgin is fending him off so far but Dussotoy persists. Nope, Elgin circles away and we're back to standing.
Elgin throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Dussotoy tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Elgin is in Dussotoy's guard.
Elgin working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Dussotoy wants to sweep but no luck.
Dussotoy could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Elgin tries to free his leg and advance position but Dussotoy is retaining full guard.

It looks like Manu Dussotoy has been cut.
Elgin postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Dussotoy covers up, he's hurt! Elgin keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Elgin and the ref steps in to end the fight! Elgin can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
