Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tacitus Kilgore (ranked 5231 p4p, 0 weight class) and Radmir Lepshokov (ranked 3836 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tacitus Kilgore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Radmir Lepshokov!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kilgore tries for a takedown but Lepshokov circles away easily
and Lepshokov counters with a left and a right that stings Kilgore.

Lepshokov shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kilgore's guard.
Lepshokov wants to control from the top but Kilgore keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lepshokov wants to pass the guard but Kilgore is keeping the position.
Lepshokov trying to control the position from guard on top but Kilgore is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lepshokov loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Lepshokov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Kilgore shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lepshokov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.


It looks like Tacitus Kilgore has been cut.
Lepshokov lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kilgore backs up against the cage.
Kilgore doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Lepshokov counters with a right hand to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tacitus Kilgore. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lepshokov clinches with his opponent.
Kilgore changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Lepshokov fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Kilgore misses with a takedown attempt - Lepshokov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Kilgore is breathing heavily.

Lepshokov feints and as Kilgore raises his hands in defense, Lepshokov changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Lepshokov works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Lepshokov tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kilgore knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Lepshokov is keen to just control but Kilgore is a slippery customer.
Lepshokov wants to pass to mount but Kilgore is defending the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Lepshokov pushes Kilgore up against the cage in a clinch.
Kilgore has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lepshokov is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Kilgore tries to pull guard but Lepshokov holds him up against the cage and eventually Kilgore drops back down to his feet.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Lepshokov clinches with his opponent.
Kilgore has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lepshokov is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Kilgore gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Lepshokov is looking to control Kilgore's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lepshokov avoid being mounted?

Kilgore knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lepshokov on the ground.
Lepshokov wants to sweep but no luck.
Lepshokov is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Kilgore is refusing to be controlled, as Lepshokov sits in half guard.
Radmir Lepshokov has got the better of the ground game so far.
Kilgore tries to get to full guard but Lepshokov has control of the leg.

Kilgore tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Lepshokov has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kilgore holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Lepshokov tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Kilgore is trying to escape the mount.
Lepshokov throwing strikes here but Kilgore is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Lepshokov lands a big shot there that rocks Kilgore but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Lepshokov is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Kilgore has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Kilgore is squirming around, avoiding Lepshokov's attempts to control the action.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Radmir Lepshokov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Kilgore gets tackled into the cage by Lepshokov. Lepshokov maintains the clinch.
Kilgore jumps guard but Lepshokov stands there with Kilgore around his waist. Kilgore gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Lepshokov tightens his grip and picks Kilgore up, before dumping him to the ground. Kilgore manages to land in guard.

Lepshokov wants to stand and escape but instead Kilgore has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Kilgore throws a strike but Lepshokov rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Lepshokov throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Lepshokov seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Kilgore is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
