The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutherford lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Sigfridsson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rutherford moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rutherford will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Rutherford throws a leg kick but Sigfridsson sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Sigfridsson throws a low kick but Rutherford moves out of range easily.
Rutherford connects with a combination that backs up Sigfridsson into the cage. Rutherford lands a flurry of punches that gets past Sigfridsson's guard. Sigfridsson is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Rutherford bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
