Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Emiljano Bicaj (ranked 4156 p4p, 418 weight class) and Nick Carter (ranked 6168 p4p, 512 weight class). Emiljano Bicaj had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Emiljano Bicaj!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Nick Carter!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Lou da Vinci and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bicaj looks to land a left hand but Carter moved out of range nicely.

Bicaj rushes Carter and presses him up against the cage.

Bicaj has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Carter is trying to keep an underhook but Bicaj manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Carter tries to get to full guard but Bicaj has control of the leg.
Bicaj keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Carter has his hands clasped together around Bicaj's back. He's all about the action.
Carter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bicaj. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bicaj seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Carter can do anything to dispel that myth.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Carter throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bicaj's waist but Bicaj gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Carter off to one side.

enabling Carter to counter with a crisp jab.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Carter, as that shot connected.

Bicaj is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Carter can do to turn this around?

enabling Carter to counter with a crisp jab.

Bicaj tries to keep at a distance but Carter has taken the fight into the clinch.
Carter is trying to pull guard but Bicaj has him pressed against the cage.

Carter throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Bicajs head.
Bicaj is looking to control Carter's arms but Carter gets an underhook and turns him. Now Bicaj has his back to the cage.

Bicaj is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Carter is defending well.

Carter jumps guard.
Carter can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bicaj controls the pace.
Bicaj seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Carter for as long as he can get away with.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bicaj's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Bicaj is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Bicaj's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Carter moves out of range as Bicaj strikes.
Bicaj takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Bicaj closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Carter did well to prevent Bicaj getting side control.
Bicaj has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
