The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Thawne lands with an uppercut that bounces Stone off the cage and back into range.
Thawne throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Stone.
Stone takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Roger Stone has been cut.
Thawne cracks a nice hook into Stone's ribs.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Sloppy strikes from Thawne. Those never looked like landing.
Thawne rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stone moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Stone wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Stone takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Thawne lands a big right hand that sends Stone crashing to the mat! Thawne stays standing though and waves Stone back to his feet!
