Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Perez (ranked 5917 p4p, 182 weight class) and Kakashi Hatake (ranked 24689 p4p, 208 weight class). Jorge Perez could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kakashi Hatake's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jorge Perez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kakashi Hatake! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Lou da Vinci and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hatake swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Perez swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Hatake feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Perezs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Hatake with a nice cross. Hatake lands a glancing blow to the side of Perez's head. Perez drives through with a takedown into guard. Perez tries to free his leg and advance position but Hatake is retaining full guard. Perez drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Perez jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Perez loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Perez lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Hatake is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Perez stops Hatake from standing up. Perez avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Perez's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Perez wants to control from the top but Hatake keeps moving. Perez missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Hatake really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Perez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Perez throws a big right hand that misses. Perez controls from within his opponent's guard. Perez throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hatake works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Perez tries to clinch but Hatake moves out of range. Hatake scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Perez takes one to the chin there. Perez on the wrong end of a nice jab. Kakashi Hatake is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Perez moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Hatake ducks under a wild hook from Perez. A jab from Perez misses. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hatake misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

A close round but Kakashi Hatake will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Perez throws a shot from downtown. Hatake moves away and avoids it. Hatake moves into range and connects with a jab. Perez drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Hatake keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Hatake is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Perez uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hatake.

Perez is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Hatake's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. Perez looks for a takedown but Hatake sprawls well. Perez walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hatake stuffs the takedown. Perez with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hatake to score with a decent uppercut. Hatake misses with a two punch combination.
Hatake scores with a sloppy right hand. Perez should have avoided that one. Perez looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Perez drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Hatake is breathing heavily. Perez postures up.

Hatake keeping moving, preventing Perez from controlling successfully. Perez throwing strikes but missing. Perez controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Hatake preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Perez postures up in Hatake's guard and throws a big left but Hatake blocks it. Perez works a leg free and moves into half guard. Hatake blocking the ground and pound attempt from Perez. Perez drops an elbow to the side of Hatake's head. Perez is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Hatake! Perez throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Hatake is squirming around, avoiding Perez's attempts to control the action. Hatake really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Perez throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Perez working for a submission but Hatake is keeping him at bay. Perez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Perez can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hatake is looking to escape. Kakashi Hatake showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hatake throws a series of punches but Perez avoids them all with ease. Hatake scores with a jab to the jaw. Hatake uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Perez. Hatake bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Perez's head backwards. Kakashi Hatake seems to be getting the better of the standup. The fight stays on the outside here - Perez looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hatake blocks a jab. Perez's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hatake connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Perez scrambles back to his feet.
