Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Shaw (ranked 5209 p4p, 128 weight class) and Gabriel Karibu (ranked 3298 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Shaw thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Karibu prevents Shaw from moving into mount.

Shaw wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Karibu has him pressed against the cage.
Karibu ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Karibu no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Shaw has gone for a leg lock! Karibu slips out almost immediately though and dives into Shaw's guard.
