Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Coach Jab (ranked 1449 p4p, 181 weight class) and Eddie Guerrero (ranked 2260 p4p, 271 weight class). Guerrero has chosen My Time Is Now as his entrance music. Coach Jab has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Coach Jab! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Eddie Guerrero! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Dirk Anderson and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guerrero closes the distance and clinches up with Jab, looking for a takedown. Guerrero pushes Jab against the cage but Jab circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Eddie Guerrero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Guerrero takes a jab right on the kisser.
Guerrero's coach down at Temp Spar Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Guerrero's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Guerrero gets a double leg takedown into Jab's guard. Jab looking to hit a scissor sweep but Guerrero is one step ahead there. Jab on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jab tries to get out of the position. Guerrero landing with the ground and pound. Guerrero is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Guerrero lands a couple of decent looking shots. Guerrero postures up and lands a big shot to Jab's brow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Guerrero lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
It looks like Coach Jab has been cut. Guerrero arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Jab's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
