Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
George lands with a thumping leg kick.
VanZutphen throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Bo George has been cut.
No joy there for VanZutphen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
VanZutphen throws a series of strikes that have George backpedaling.
VanZutphen circles away from the clinch attempt.
VanZutphen closes the distance and pushes George back into the cage.
VanZutphen is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
George tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
A nice left hand lands by VanZutphen.
VanZutphen lands a left hand that snaps the head of George backwards.

VanZutphen has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. George is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Bo George has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nicholas VanZutphen.
VanZutphen lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of George backwards.
George has VanZutphen pressed against the cage, preventing VanZutphen from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

George takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from VanZutphen.
VanZutphen throws a left and a right that both miss
and George counters with a lovely shot to the body.
VanZutphen throws a push kick but George slaps the foot to one side.
George throws a body punch but VanZutphen moves out of range.
VanZutphen misses with a two punch combination.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from George is defended easily by VanZutphen.

VanZutphen moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
George moves out of range of the body kick from VanZutphen.
VanZutphen moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
George is rocked!
VanZutphen goes for a small jab and connects. Now VanZutphen goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! George stumbles back but VanZutphen runs in with a huge uppercut knocking George to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if George will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
