PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between CJ Johnson (ranked 2149 p4p, 262 weight class) and Ernesto Llosa (ranked 936 p4p, 123 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by Relentless - Slayer. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson throws a big shot that misses.

Llosa ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Llosa no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Our spies down at at Mello MMA inform us that Llosa has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've been hearing good reports from Johnson's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Llosa has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Johnson uses from the top position.

That was a close second round but I would say that CJ Johnson will probably get the nod.

Llosa has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Johnson should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Llosa has tightened it up now! Johnson should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Ernesto Llosa really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Riner Clothing and Laundry (85%) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
