Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Riley Ferguson (ranked 3777 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Wius (ranked 4123 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Riley Ferguson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Riley Ferguson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferguson throws a right and a left that Wius avoids nicely.
Ferguson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Ferguson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
No joy there for Ferguson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wius throws a looping overhand right but Ferguson ducks down to avoid it.
Ferguson is looking to counter punch.
Wius waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ferguson.
Wius jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ferguson was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Craig Wius seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ferguson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wius stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Wius slips a jab from Ferguson.
Wius swings widly with a right hand
and Ferguson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Wius throws a solid leg kick but Ferguson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Wius.
Wius looks to land a right hand but Ferguson moved out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wius shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wius showed some decent athleticism there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wius is trying for a kimura here. Ferguson looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Wius wins by kimura!
