Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage keeps the fight on the outside.
Savage tries to clinch
and Takah counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Takah working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Takah working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Savage's head.
Takah has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Savage has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Takah off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
John Savage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Savage misses the jab.
Savage clinches up with Takah and pushes him back against the cage.
Takah throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Savage wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Takah lands a body punch in the clinch.
Takah wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Savage has him pressed against the cage.
Savage lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Savage wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Savage drags the fight down to the ground.
Takah is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Takah lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Takah works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Savage tries to get to full guard but Takah has control of the leg.
Savage is still in real trouble! Can Takah finish him?
Takah scores with a big shot! Savage's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Savage! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
