Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Martin (ranked 994 p4p, 121 weight class) and Jim McNulty (ranked 1912 p4p, 231 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Martin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jim McNulty! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martin shoots in and drives through. McNulty sprawls well. McNulty looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Martin tries for a takedown but McNulty sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. McNulty clinches up with Martin and pushes him back against the ropes. Martin tries to pull guard but McNulty holds him up against the ropes and eventually Martin drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Martin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Martin fails to pull the fight into his guard.
McNulty lands a body shot. McNulty pushes Martin back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch. Martin tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. McNulty fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Martin. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McNulty clinches up against the ropes. McNulty scores with a shoulder strike. An uppercut to the body lands inside from McNulty. Martin fails to pull guard.

McNulty throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Still in the clinch, McNulty scores with a nice short uppercut. Martin's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! McNulty lands a nice uppercut. McNulty pushes Martin back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head. Martin looking to stall.

Martin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. McNulty throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. McNulty fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Martin takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. A cross from McNulty lands. A chopping leg kick lands by McNulty. McNulty scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. McNulty lands a nice leg kick that just misses Martin's sensitive parts. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McNulty scores with a crisp jab that stopped Martin in his tracks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Martin takes one to the chin there. McNulty dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Martin. That did some damage! Martin fails in his attempt to clinch. McNulty closes the distance and clinches. Martin fails to pull guard.

Martin misses with a takedown attempt - McNulty sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. McNulty bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Martin's head.

Oh Martin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A short right from McNulty. McNulty unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Martin! He's leaning against the ropes trying to keep his feet but McNulty is unloading with more strikes now! Martin drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
