And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Villaba clobbers Mathis with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Lavern Mathis has been cut.
Mathis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Villaba.
Mathis seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Villaba moves into the clinch.
Still in the clinch, Villaba scores with a nice short uppercut.
Mathis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Villaba gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Villaba gets through Mathis's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Mathis is rocked!
Villaba creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Mathis's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Mathis drops to his knees and Villaba pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hector Villaba!
