Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Carmine Turturro (ranked 4284 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Chaitle (ranked 5422 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Carmine Turturro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Chaitle! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Bruno Lombardi and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Turturro shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Chaitle's guard. Turturro looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Chaitle escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Turturro gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Turturro slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Turturro drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Turturro jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Turturro passes Chaitle's left leg - he's now in half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Turturro is looking for a kimura but Chaitle is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Turturro to get the leverage. Turturro slows the pace down in half guard. Turturro has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turturro prevents Chaitle from improving his position. Turturro seems to be looking for submissions.
Turturro is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Chaitle doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Turturro. Turturro looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Turturro is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Turturro content to control rather than advance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Turturro frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Chaitle really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Turturro looking for a guillotine from mount but Chaitle is having none of it. Turturro working for a submission but Chaitle is keeping him at bay. Turturro is working for a guillotine from mount but Chaitle frees his head quite easily.
Turturro is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Chaitle is surviving well by controlling Turturro's body position as best he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Turturro looking to control and managing it successfully. Chaitle is squirming around, avoiding Turturro's attempts to control the action. Turturro looking to secure an arm triangle but Chaitle defends it well. Turturro has hold of Chaitle's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Chaitle manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Turturro has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Chaitle is forced to tap!
