The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pouncey misses with a right hand
and Volkov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Pouncey misses with a wild body shot.
Volkov lands a jab to the head.
Volkov swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Volkov. Pouncey does a little dance to reset his feet.
Pouncey moves out of range as Volkov strikes.
Pouncey misses with a two punch combination.
Volkov thuds a left hand into Pouncey's body.
Volkov slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Volkov defending well as Pouncey loads up on a big left hand.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Volkov, as that shot connected.
It looks like Kelvin Pouncey has been cut.
Volkov lands a big uppercut and Pouncey crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Pouncey looks OK. Volkov waves Pouncey back to his feet!
Pouncey is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pouncey ducks into an uppercut from Volkov and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
