Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Benedict Arnold (ranked 2468 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leon Cotton (ranked 4412 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Cotton's choice of entrance music: Humble by: Kendrick Lamar. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cotton fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Arnold throws a good cross that connects.
It looks like Leon Cotton has been cut.
Cotton has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Cotton shoots in for a takedown but Arnold shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Cotton dives in for a single leg takedown but Arnold sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Cotton throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Arnold escapes and throws Cotton's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Arnold takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Arnold wants to stand but Cotton has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Arnold connects with a body shot that sends Cotton's belly button to the back.
Cotton tries to bum rush Arnold with a series of wild strikes but Arnold uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Cotton shoots in looking for a takedown but Arnold manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cotton's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Arnold is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Cotton can do to turn this around?
Arnold is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Cotton has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Arnold is looking to defend but Cotton has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Arnold! Cotton pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Arnold taps out and this one is all over!

A very excited looking Leon Cotton rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
In defeat, Benedict Arnold stepped up to the mic, saying 'Stupid auto flight, free win for opponent'.
