PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Ronald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John The Don (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ronald has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, John The Don!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The Don fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ronald, pushing him back against the cage.
The Don is looking to break free of the clinch but Ronald has double underhooks.

The Don is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Ronald gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Ronald has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. The Don is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Ronald.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Well The Don has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
