Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bihom Tarsun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Cabreros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peter Cabreros will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Bihom Tarsun! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peter Cabreros! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cabreros misses with a body shot.
Cabreros throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Cabreros throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tarsun sees it coming and avoids it easily. Cabreros throws a nice looking combination but Tarsun bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Tarsun blocks a jab. Tarsun moves out of range of the strikes. Tarsun swinging wilding here.
Tarsun ducks under a wild hook from Cabreros. Peter Cabreros seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cabreros misses with an uppercut. Cabreros throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cabreros throws a jab when Tarsun was well out of range. Tarsun pushes Cabreros up against the cage in a clinch. Tarsun with an attempt at a knee that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cabreros struggles to land a body shot inside as Tarsun controls his hands.
Cabreros swings wildly with an uppercut but Tarsun uses good head movement to avoid it. Cabreros lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Cabreros lands a hook to the side of the head. Cabreros misses with some punches.

Tarsun breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cabreros misses with a straight right. Cabreros misses with a body shot.
Tarsun uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cabreros. Cabreros clobbers Tarsun with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Tarsun gets the takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cabreros gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Tarsun controlling the position easily from mount. Cabreros defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Tarsun. Tarsun is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Cabreros is in real trouble.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cabreros defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tarsun is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Tarsun's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Tarsun looking for the choke from the back. Tarsun lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tarsun is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Tarsun gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Tarsun gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Tarsun apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Cabreros misses the jab. Cabreros throws a right and a left that Tarsun avoids nicely. Cabreros tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tarsun was well out of range. Poor timing from Cabreros. Tarsun on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Cabreros throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tarsun. Cabreros avoids the body shot from Tarsun.

and Tarsun connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Cabreros looks gassed!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Tarsun or perhaps it was just good defense by Cabreros which made him look bad. Cabreros throws a series of strikes that have Tarsun backpedaling.

It looks like Bihom Tarsun has been cut. Cabreros misses with a combination
and Tarsun counters with a shoot takedown. Cabreros fights it but they end up in guard. Oh Tarsun is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tarsun content to stall in guard here. Tarsun seems to have got his legs back now. Tarsun passes Cabreros's left leg - he's now in half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Tarsun works his way into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bihom Tarsun dominated that round. The cut man is working on Bihom Tarsun's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Cabreros might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Tarsun avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tarsun swings for the body but Cabreros moves out of range.

Cabreros lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Tarsun. Tarsun tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Tarsun avoids a lazy jab quite easily. No joy there for Cabreros, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cabreros thuds a left hand into Tarsun's body. Tarsun moves into the clinch successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tarsun prevents a body shot from Cabreros. Cabreros lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Tarsun backwards. Cabreros lands a body punch. Tarsun has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Cabreros regains guard immediately. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tarsun thows a big elbow that misses. Tarsun pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Cabreros is keeping the position for now. Tarsun wants to control from the top but Cabreros keeps moving. Cabreros is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Tarsun stands and throws Cabreros's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tarsun works to advance to full mount. Cabreros defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Cabreros is squirming around, avoiding Tarsun's attempts to control the action. Tarsun lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Cabreros working to try and regain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tarsun with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Tarsun wants to control the pace but Cabreros is squirming around nicely. Bihom Tarsun overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Tarsun scoring with strikes but Cabreros is staying in there. Tarsun is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Tarsun extends the arm and Cabreros is forced to tap!
