Zimmerman scores with a crisp jab that stopped Lazzarini in his tracks.
Zimmerman has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Zimmerman leaves Lazzarini with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
And Zimmerman counters with a quick kick to the body but Lazzarini blocks it.

Lazzarini chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Zimmerman can pounce on him.

Zimmerman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Zimmerman throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Zimmerman is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Lazzarini gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Zimmerman counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Zimmerman lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Lazzarini backwards.

The cut above Flavio Lazzarini's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Zimmerman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Zimmerman grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Lazzarini takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Zimmerman cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
