Hagen is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Thunder by Imagine Dragons. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lars Svensson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Hagen!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svensson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hagen throws a shot to the body.
Hagen is looking to clinch but Svensson is avoiding it.

Svensson gets a double leg takedown into Hagen's guard.

Hagen pushes Svensson off and gets back to his feet.
Hagen fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Svensson leaves Hagen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hagen uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Svensson.
Hagen is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Svensson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hagen for as long as he can get away with.
Hagen tries to roll over but Svensson keeps him under control.

Svensson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Svensson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Svensson passes Hagen's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Hagen is looking to improve his position.
Svensson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close round but I would say that Lars Svensson will probably get the nod.

Hagen works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Hagen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Svensson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hagen has managed to get both his arms back between Svensson's legs - danger averted.
Svensson lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Svensson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hagen is proving hard to escape from.

Svensson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hagen is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hagen has escaped and now he's on top!

Svensson is looking to take a break and control but Hagen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Svensson looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Svensson is thwarting Hagen's attempts to control the position.
Hagen is pressing down on Svensson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Hagen takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Svensson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Hagen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Svensson as he avoids it easily.

Svensson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hagen's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Svensson is in close to Hagen's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Hagen wants to hit a switch here but Svensson passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Hagen there!

Lars Svensson showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Svensson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
