Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Benson Nextwill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Shaun Hague! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hague lands a big right hand that sends Nextwill crashing to the mat! Hague stays standing though and waves Nextwill back to his feet!
It looks like Benson Nextwill has been cut. Nextwill throws a body shot but no joy. Hague showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Nextwill.
Hague circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nextwill ducks right into an uppercut from Hague. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hague scores with a jab. Nextwill acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Hague cracks Nextwill with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Nextwill looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Hague finish him?
Nextwill is rocked! Nextwill swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Oh Nextwill is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Nextwill takes a shot right to the bread basket. Nextwill seems to have got his legs back now. Hague lands a big uppercut and Nextwill crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Nextwill looks OK. Hague waves Nextwill back to his feet! Hague will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hague instigates a clinch. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nextwill tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Hague keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Nextwill's efforts to push away. A nice left hand lands by Hague.

Hague blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Hague lands with a left to the head. Hague scores with a shot to the side of Nextwill's head. Nextwill is breathing heavily. Hague working aggressively here.
A battle for position here, against the cage. Nextwill tries a body shot but Hague blocks it.
Hague pushes Nextwill back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Nextwill looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hague creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Hague lands a right hand that snaps the head of Nextwill backwards. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hague creates a bit of distance for himself, with Nextwill pressed up against the cage and cracks Nextwill with a massive uppercut! Nextwill goes down! He's out cold! Wow, that was some serious power there by Hague!
