Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Terrell Kerr (ranked 5561 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Rilley (ranked 5180 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Terrell Kerr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Rilley!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kerr fails with a takedown attempt.
Kerr misses with a takedown
and Rilley counters with a thumping low kick.
Rilley lands a slapping body shot.
Rilley loads up on a big right hand but Kerr slips the punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kerr has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Rilley.
Kerr tries for a takedown but Rilley circles away easily
and Rilley counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Terrell Kerr. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kerr moves into range and clinches up with Rilley.
Rilley stalling in the clinch but Kerr improves position.
Rilley blocks an elbow strike from Kerr.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Kerr as Rilley tries to tie him up.

Kerr shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Kerr is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Rilley.
Kerr uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rilley.
That kick from Rilley tenderised Kerr's leg. Kerr is trying to keep his angry face on.

Kerr forces Rilley back against the cage and clinches.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kerr is looking for a takedown.

Kerr manages to break the clinch.
A combination from Rilley does no damage.
Kerr takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

The fighters circle momentarily. Rilley darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Rilley lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Rilley throws a right and a left that Kerr avoids nicely.
Kerr will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Kerr counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Kerr is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Rilley looks winded!

Kerr stands up and waves to Rilley to follow him.

Rilley tries to keep at a distance but Kerr has taken the fight into the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Rilley! But no joy.
Rilley lands with a kick to the ribs.

Kerr dives in and grabs Rilley's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rilley pushes down on Kerr's head and hops out.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Ryan Rilley.

and Rilley cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Kerr moves into the clinch successfully.

Kerr goes for a takedown in the clinch but Rilley prevents it.
Rilley prevents a body shot from Kerr.
Kerr is looking to break free of the clinch but Rilley has double underhooks.
Kerr pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Kerr is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Rilley will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Kerr up against the cage.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Rilley on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Kerr turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Kerr manages to end up in side control.

Kerr is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rilley is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Kerr tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kerr has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Terrell Kerr will probably get the nod.
That's time! Kerr's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Rilley trying to control the position but instead, Kerr has worked for underhooks and has pushed Rilley into the cage.
Rilley is looking to control Kerr's arms but Kerr gets an underhook and turns him. Now Rilley has his back to the cage.
Rilley is persisting with his attempts to control the action in the clinch, rather than do any real damage.

Kerr pushes off an throws an elbow but Rilley leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Kerr drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Rilley gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Terrell Kerr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rilley has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Rilley wants to stall.
Kerr misses with an elbow over the top.

Kerr pulls guard.
Rilley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kerr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rilley is fighting to break Kerr's control of his arms but Kerr is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Kerr wants to stand up but Rilley is controlling him.
Kerr doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Kerr is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Kerr working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rilley doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rilley manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kerr bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rilley's guard.


Kerr thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Kerr drops back looking for a leg! Rilley is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rilley manages to kick Kerr off! Kerr jumps back into Rilley's guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Terrell Kerr showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Kerr has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
