Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tomi Bryan (ranked 662 p4p, 96 weight class) and Eduardo Fernandino (ranked 776 p4p, 121 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tomi Bryan! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Eduardo Fernandino! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bryan moves out of range as Fernandino strikes. Fernandino lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Bryan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bryan is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Fernandino will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Fernandino wants to control but Bryan postures up. The referee asks Bryan politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Bryan prefers to stall for the moment though. Fernandino defending against the ground and pound. Fernandino takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Bryan looks up at the clock and then as Fernandino takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bryan smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Bryan landing strikes. Bryan trying to control the position but Fernandino is working away. Bryan landing a few strikes. Bryan has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bryan in side control, throwing shots but Fernandino defends. Bryan is chipping away with strikes.
Bryan throws a strike aimed at the side of Fernandino's head but Fernandino avoids it well. Fernandino is looking for a sweep. Bryan tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Bryan lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Fernandino down.
It looks like Eduardo Fernandino has been cut. Fernandino really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bryan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Fernandino is looking to regain half guard here but Bryan keeps moving and retains side control. Fernandino defending against the ground and pound. Bryan is chipping away with strikes.
That has opened up Eduardo Fernandino's cut even more. Bryan content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Bryan is putting a hurting on Fernandino here, landing some big shots from side control.
The cut above Eduardo Fernandino's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fernandino tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bryan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Bryan working away. Bryan misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Bryan is looking to take a break and control but Fernandino is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bryan working away. Bryan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fernandino keeps working. Fernandino is looking to reverse the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bryan fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Bryan misses with the ground and pound. Bryan working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Fernandino dodges the ground and pound from Bryan. Sloppy strikes there by Bryan. Fernandino trying to remain calm as Bryan controls from the top position. Fernandino is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. Bryan lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Fernandino down.
Fernandino is looking for a sweep. Fernandino avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Bryan. Bryan misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bryan controls the position. Bryan lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Eduardo Fernandino's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Eduardo Fernandino's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Tomi Bryan! Tomi Bryan retains his middleweight title! Tomi Bryan decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
