Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Takeru Kazehaya (ranked 4409 p4p, 102 weight class) and Kyle Vluehorn (ranked 24757 p4p, 159 weight class). Kyle Vluehorn will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Takeru Kazehaya! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kyle Vluehorn! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Sandra Marshall and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kazehaya stuffs the takedown attempt from Vluehorn. Vluehorn gets slowly back to his feet. Kazehaya attempts a counter takedown but Vluehorn avoids it well and moves away. Kazehaya fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Vluehorn to the ground. Kazehaya is now in Vluehorn's guard. Kazehaya looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Kazehaya is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Vluehorn trying to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kazehaya drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kazehaya jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kazehaya trying to control but Vluehorn is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kazehaya stays in close to Vluehorn's body and controls the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Kazehaya throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kazehaya has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Temp Spar Gym in the buildup to the fight. Kazehaya looks to land a right hand but Vluehorn moved out of range. Vluehorn wants to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kazehaya moves out of range as Vluehorn throws a body kick.
Vluehorn throws a wild body kick that Kazehaya sees coming a mile off. Vluehorn defending well as Kazehaya loads up on a big left hand. Vluehorn looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Kazehaya misses with a hook. Vluehorn ducked under it nicely. Kazehaya darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Kazehaya seems to be working for a kimura but Vluehorn defends the submission attempt. Kazehaya in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Vluehorn tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Kazehaya!
