Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Builder (ranked 5133 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Jones (ranked 5296 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bob Builder! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jimmy Jones! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Bart Greer and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Builder tries to clinch there but Jones circles away.
Builder throws out a leg kick but Jones moves out of range and Builder only half commits. Jones closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Builder to the mat! Builder manages to get full guard. Jones stops Builder from standing up. Jones throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Builder throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Jones escapes and throws Builder's legs to the side, diving into side control! Builder tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Jones trying to control but he's not successful this time. Jones tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Jones content just to control the position here. Jones trying to control but Builder is having none of it. Jones looking to control and managing it successfully. Builder tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jones scoring with strikes but Builder is staying in there. Jones has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Builder's face.
Jones looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Jones controlling from the full mount. Builder is working to get back to half guard.
Builder is squirming around, avoiding Jones's attempts to control the action. Builder is looking to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones thowing shots but they're missing. Jones looking to control and managing it successfully. Jones wants to control the pace but Builder is squirming around nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Jones wants to control the action but instead Builder gets a body lock and reverses into Jones's guard! Nice work! Jones throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Jones has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Jones is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Builder trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Builder stopping the sweep attempt from Jones. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jones is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy Jones dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Builder moves out of range as Jones throws a body kick.
Builder drops down looking for a counter takedown but Jones sprawls and moves away. Builder fails to land the takedown. Oooooh!!! Builder has knocked Jones down with a huge combo! Builder steps away and waves a wobbly Jones back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Jimmy Jones has been cut. Jones stuffs the takedown. Builder pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Builder tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance. Builder shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jones but Jones pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bob Builder. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones keeps the fight on the outside. Builder misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jones gets a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Builder has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Jones drags the fight down to the ground.
Builder looking to sit in guard and control but Jones gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Builder looking for a sweep. Not yet Builder, not yet. Jones has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Builder is proving hard to escape from. Jones slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Jones advances position into side control! Jones postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here as Jones stalls from top position. Jones has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Builder parries the strikes from Jones easily there. Jones is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Builder to escape.
Jones postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Jones staying calm. Builder is trying to control Jones's posture but Jones avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Builder rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Jones's guard! Nice work there by Builder! Jones keeping moving, preventing Builder from controlling successfully. Builder stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard. Builder stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Builder fails in his attempt to clinch. Jones fails with a takedown attempt. Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jones connects with an inside leg kick. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jones bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Builder's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Jimmy Jones will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Jimmy Jones's cut. That's time! Builder's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Jones with a poor takedown and Builder counters with a crisp one two that drops Jones! Builder thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Jones to his feet! Jones is in big trouble!
Jones is rocked! Builder dives in and grabs Jones's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes down on Builder's head and hops out. Jones darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Builder has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jones is working away from the top position though. Builder is looking for a sweep. Jones is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Jones tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Builder. Builder kicks Jones off and gets back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Builder with a poor takedown and Jones counters by clinching up. Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Builder is defended easily by Jones. Despite the aggression on Jones's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bob Builder. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Builder throws a sloppy head kick and Jones moves into the clinch. Jones has picked Builder up - he's going for a ride! Jones dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Builder tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Jones manages to move to mount!
Jones tries to control but Builder wriggling away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Builder wants to hold on but Jones pushes him away. Jones throwing strikes here but Builder is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Jones controlling his opponent. This has been an exciting period of action! Jones throwing strikes but Builder recovers to half guard. A much better position. Builder regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Builder trying to keep a closed guard but Jones is proving a slippery customer.
Jones stopping the sweep attempt from Builder. Jones is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Builder working a defensive guard but Jones manages to pass into side control anyway.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jones postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Builder trying to control but Jones flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Builder is trying to break free.
Jones has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Builder has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Jones's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
And that's the end of the fight! Jimmy Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
