Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Sandra Marshall and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera shoots in and bounces Roncaglia off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rivera is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Rivera's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Roncaglia throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Rivera escapes and throws Roncaglia's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Rivera controls the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Roncaglia is pushing Rivera's head away, looking to escape. Rivera manages to hold on to the position though.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Roncaglia tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Roncaglia is trying to reverse the position but instead Rivera has taken his back - oops!
Roncaglia is trying to break free.
Roncaglia is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Rivera gets his way!
Rivera is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Roncaglia has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Rivera has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Roncaglia taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Rivera doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Murphy Rivera!
