Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carroll Gentry (ranked 24813 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jessy Dentler (ranked 4620 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gentry throws a front kick aimed at Dentler's knee but Dentler avoids it well.
Dentler throws a series of punches but Gentry moves out of range.
Gentry throws a big counter combination but Dentler scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Dentler shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gentry as he jumps to the side.
Gentry half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Gentry thuds his right hand into Dentler's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

and Dentler moves into the clinch.

Gentry's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dentler closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Gentry jumps guard and drags Dentler to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Dentler has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gentry can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Dentler will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Gentry is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dentler.
Dentler shoots in but Gentry avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Gentry lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dentler circles away quickly and effectively.

Gentry has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Dentler avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
We've been informed that Dentler has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

A right hook to the body lands for Dentler.
Gentry's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Dentler is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Gentry is defending well.

That was a close round but I would say that Carroll Gentry will probably get the nod.

Dentler connects with a combination that backs up Gentry into the cage. Dentler lands a flurry of punches that gets past Gentry's guard. Gentry is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Dentler bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
