Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cyrus Ware (ranked 5745 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baka Prase (ranked 7390 p4p, 0 weight class). Baka Prase has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cyrus Ware! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Baka Prase! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Prase tries a head kick but it misses.
Prase shoots for a double leg takedown but Ware sprawls well. He's pushed Prase's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Ware tries to counter with a takedown but Prase is quick to defend against it. Prase pushes Ware up against the cage in a clinch. Prase gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Prase should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Ware is looking to escape. Ware makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Ware. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are working up against the cage. Ware manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Ware drops down looking for an ankle pick but Prase pulls his leg out and moves away.
Prase forces Ware back against the cage and clinches. Ware's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ware pressing his opponent against the cage. Ware pulls guard successfully.
Prase tries to free his leg and advance position but Ware is retaining full guard. Ware is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Prase is aware though and is defending well. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ware is on top in guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Prase can do anything to dispel that myth. Ware is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Prase keeping moving, preventing Ware from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ware postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Ware landing some decent shots from guard. Ware will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Ware wants to control from the top but Prase keeps moving. Ware has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ware is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Prase is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ware showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Prase really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ware. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ware wants to control from the top but Prase keeps moving. Prase utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Prase wants to sweep but no luck. Prase trying to strike off his back.
Ware connects with a couple of short punches. Ware is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Ware working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Prase's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ware working some strikes from top position. Ware is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Ware looks for a takedown but Prase sprawls well. Prase tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Prase avoids the body shot from Ware.
Ware looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Prase is fending him off so far but Ware persists. Nope, Prase circles away and we're back to standing. Prase changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cyrus Ware. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ware fails with the takedown. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cyrus Ware dominated that round. That's time! Ware's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Prase drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Ware is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Prase as Ware tries to tie him up. Prase has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ware after a bit of a struggle. Ware gets a trip takedown into half guard. Ware working Prase over with strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ware drops an elbow to the side of Prase's head. Ware looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Ware is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Cyrus Ware overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ware prevents Prase from standing back up.
Prase is breathing heavily. Prase has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Ware escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Ware! Ware is working Prase over with some ground and pound from side control. Ware staying calm. Ware landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ware cracks Prase with a big right hand but Prase just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Prase is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Ware tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ware has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Ware moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Ware scores with a couple of short elbows. Ware is working to tighten his grip on Prase's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Prase has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Ware is really squeezing tight and eventually Prase passes out! Ware breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
