Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
28 - 16 - 0, fighting out of London, DeShawn Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Allan Coyoca! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice inside leg kick there by Johnson. That's going to slow Coyoca down. A looping hook to the body misses from Johnson. Coyoca does a little dance to reset his feet. A swing and a miss from Johnson. Coyoca closes the distance looking to clinch and Johnson counters with a lovely straight right hand! Coyoca throws a sloppy head kick and Johnson moves out of range easily. Johnson avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Johnson throws an overhand right that lands on Coyoca's shoulder, as Coyoca tries to avoid the shot. Johnson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson connects with a jab. Johnson throws a jab but it's blocked by Coyoca. Johnson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Coyoca moves out of range as Johnson strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Coyoca shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Johnson defends it nicely. Coyoca takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
The crowd cheers as Johnson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Coyoca doesn't seem phased though. Johnson swings widly with a right hand
and Coyoca cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like DeShawn Johnson has been cut. Coyoca avoids the head kick by Johnson.
Coyoca looks to land a combination. Johnson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coyoca scores with a head kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A shot to the body from Coyoca misses and Johnson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Allan Coyoca has been cut. Coyoca misses with a looping left. Coyoca avoids a low kick by using good footwork. The crowd cheers as Johnson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Coyoca doesn't seem phased though. Johnson throws a jab but it's blocked by Coyoca. Coyoca throws a head kick that misses. Johnson was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Johnson throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Coyoca cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Johnson scores with a hook. Johnson misses with a hook. Coyoca ducked under it nicely. Coyoca tries a quick counter leg kick but Johnson is wise to it. Coyoca on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Coyoca goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coyoca throws a sloppy head kick and Johnson moves out of range easily. Johnson swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Coyoca staying out of range there. Johnson scores with a decent looking hook. Johnson just misses with a punch to the body.
Coyoca uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Johnson.
Johnson connects with a crisp jab. Johnson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Coyoca was well out of range. Poor timing from Johnson. Coyoca throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Coyoca's jab looks to have found its range, popping Johnson under the eye. Johnson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Coyoca manages to avoid it. Coyoca tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coyoca moves away from the strike by Johnson. Coyoca with a poor takedown and Johnson counters with a stiff right hand. Coyoca moves out of range of the strikes. Johnson swats away the attempt to clinch by Coyoca. It looked like Johnson was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Coyoca. Johnson throws a looping overhand right but Coyoca ducks down to avoid it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Coyoca darts in and clinches Johnson up against the cage. Coyoca throws an elbow but it misses.

Johnson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Johnson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Coyoca cracks the inside of Johnson's front leg. Coyoca closes the distance and clinches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
DeShawn Johnson dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's time! Back to the action!
Johnson throws the left hand but Coyoca avoids the punch easily. Coyoca looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Johnson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Coyoca sees it coming and avoids it easily. Johnson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Coyoca can do to turn this around? Johnson throws a poor cross that misses
and Coyoca counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Coyoca takes a swing at Johnson's ribcage but misses. It looked like Johnson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Coyoca lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Coyoca tries to clinch up and Johnson counters with a head kick that drops Coyoca to the mat! Coyoca scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Coyoca moves away. Coyoca drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Johnson defends it well. Johnson thuds a left hand into Coyoca's body. Nice defenses there by Coyoca. Coyoca throws a leg kick but Johnson sees it coming and checks it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coyoca fails in his attempt to clinch. Coyoca has his takedown stuffed and Johnson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Coyoca thinking. Johnson lands a big head kick that sends Coyoca tumbling to the mat! Johnson takes a step backwards and waves Coyoca back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Coyoca is rocked! Coyoca gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Johnson points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Coyoca wakes up just in time to hear Johnson thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
