Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shaun Mcintosh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Deangelo James!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Lou da Vinci and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James throws a head kick that looked like it stung.


It looks like Shaun Mcintosh has been cut.

Mcintosh rushes James and presses him up against the cage.
Mcintosh takes a shot to the head.

James breaks from the clinch.

James dives in and scores a takedown into Mcintosh's guard.
James working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
James lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Mcintosh had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. James defends it easily.
James trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
James wants to control from the top but Mcintosh keeps moving.

James stands up from Mcintosh's guard - James perhaps looking for a knockout.

James clinches up with Mcintosh and pushes him back against the cage.

James pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
James throws a head kick that misses
and Mcintosh counters with a two punch combo.

James darts in and clinches Mcintosh up against the cage.
Mcintosh effectively controlling the action here.

James's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Mcintosh counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
James is looking to get back to is feet but Mcintosh passes into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Mcintosh escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. James gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

James controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Mcintosh looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
James must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
James controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Mcintosh keeping moving, preventing James from controlling successfully.
Mcintosh is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Mcintosh is looking for a triangle but James pushes his legs off easily.

James is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Mcintosh is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Mcintosh has escaped and now he's on top!

James wants to sweep here but Mcintosh controlling him for the moment.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



James pushes Mcintosh up against the cage in a clinch.
James tries to throw a body punch but Mcintosh avoids it by throwing James back against the cage.
James has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

James's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

James closes the distance and pushes Mcintosh back into the cage.

James lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mcintosh looking for a kimura from the bottom but James passes into side control!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

James stands up out of Mcintosh's guard for a moment - Mcintosh manages to land a nice upkick.
James lands a couple of elbows.
James stands and throws Mcintosh's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Mcintosh holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
Mcintosh manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

James wants to control but Mcintosh is keeping busy.

James looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Mcintosh pushes past his half guard into mount!

Mcintosh lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Mcintosh is taking a breather. James says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

James tries to roll over but Mcintosh keeps him under control.

Mcintosh wants to work for an arm triangle but James is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
James keeps control of the position for the meantime.

James looking for a kimura from the bottom but Mcintosh passes into side control!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
James striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
James is trying to control Mcintosh's posture but Mcintosh avoids it.
Mcintosh sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but James is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Mcintosh in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

A close second round but Deangelo James will probably get the nod - 10:9.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


James tries a head kick but it misses.

James has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mcintosh tries to circle away but James has him pinned against the cage.
James is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Mcintosh slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

James trying to keep a closed guard but Mcintosh is proving a slippery customer.
Mcintosh seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

James isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Mcintosh stacks James on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Mcintosh!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
James can't do much from the bottom here.
James is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Mcintosh has just dragged him back down to the mat.
James is trying to work for a sweep but Mcintosh has mounted him!
James tries to get back to half guard but can't.
James tries to hold on but Mcintosh pushes him away.
Mcintosh is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Deangelo James is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
