Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
48 - 51 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Suren Nazarethyan!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Reed Andrews and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nazarethyan shoots in and bounces Alli off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Alli is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Alli wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Nazarethyan manages to pass to side control.
Well, if Nazarethyan is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Nazarethyan seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Nazarethyan looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Alli with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Nazarethyan takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Nazarethyan drops an elbow to the side of Alli's head.
Nazarethyan looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Alli has hold of Nazarethyan's hands but Nazarethyan slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Alli is trying to stand.
Nazarethyan is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Nazarethyan has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Alli's face.
